A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this past weekend at the 3rd Annual Health Expo to Promote Sickle Cell Awareness at Park Place Mall!

From inspiring speakers and free health checks to connecting with amazing community resources, the turnout and energy were truly inspiring.

We are deeply grateful to NPHC of Southern Arizona, the Sickle Cell Foundation of Arizona, Park Place Mall, and all our community partners who helped make this event a success.

Heart to Heart: A Little Black Dress Networking Event

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Eta Epsilon Omega Chapter proudly hosted Heart to Heart: A Little Black Dress Networking Event in recognition of National Little Black Dress Day!

35 attendees gathered at the Arizona Sands Club for an evening of networking, connection, empowerment, and an important conversation about women’s heart health.

A special highlight of the evening was our panel discussion featuring two cardiologists, Dr. Kapil Lotun
And Dr. Ike Chinyere, who shared valuable information about heart disease and stroke, risk factors, prevention, and the importance of women taking an active role in protecting their heart health. Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions and gain practical information they can use to make their health a priority.

Thank you to our panelists, attendees, and everyone who helped make this meaningful event possible. Together, we are building connections while raising awareness and empowering women to prioritize their health.

Our Bridgerton-inspired Sisterly Relations Retreat was truly a grand success. From the Queen’s Welcome and tea & talk conversations on communication, support, and healthy sisterly relationships to our team-building activities and dives into new national and regional program initiatives, the room was filled with laughter, unity, and pure grace.

✨ What an Amazing Afternoon of Connection, Collaboration, and Empowerment! ✨

On May 28th, 2026, over 50 incredible women entrepreneurs, professionals, and community leaders came together for our Women’s Business Networking Event hosted by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Eta Epsilon Omega Chapter.

The energy in the room was inspiring as women shared their stories, exchanged ideas, promoted their businesses, and forged meaningful new connections. From aspiring entrepreneurs to established business owners, attendees discovered opportunities to collaborate, support one another, and strengthen their professional networks.

This event was a powerful reminder that when women come together, we create opportunities, build relationships, and elevate one another’s success.
