PCC is your smart choice for high-quality, affordable, hands-on education serving Southern Arizona and beyond. Students come to PCC from all walks and stages of life, yet all share a desire to enrich their lives through the pursuit of knowledge. In addition to providing the education students need to transfer to a four-year institution, the College also provides workforce development, career train

ing programs, continuing education and adult education. PCC’s primary objective is to help our students attain their goals. That means making sure the College offers classes at convenient times. It means offering a variety of workforce training programs. And it means keeping tuition affordable and class sizes small. As a publicly funded institution, PCC takes very seriously the fiscal responsibilities that come with the stewardship of hard-earned tax dollars. The College strongly believes that it must be effective and efficient in everything it does, and is committed to demonstrating that it is worthy of the public’s trust.

Chancellor Nasse making pull-ups in a suit look easy 👀

Pima students, consider this your introduction to your Chancellor, Dr. Jeff Nasse! A former marine vet and member of the elite 4 AM wake-up club, Dr. Nasse gets what it means to work hard for a larger vision - just like Pima students do every day.

On the first day of Fall Semester, Chancellor Nasse visited campuses, greeted students, faculty, and staff, and also crashed a plane. (Kidding.) We hope you enjoy this peek into his day!

Stay tuned this semester for more updates directly from the Chancellor about what Pima Community College is working on to advance student success, accessibility, and career readiness, while expanding the College’s capacity to provide the best quality education to our community.

Lourdes, we will miss your outstanding presence, infectious enthusiasm, and passion for all things arts and gothic literature!! 😭

As we say goodbye to our first cohort of social media peer mentors and welcome in our new student employees, we are reflecting on the huge impact that Lourdes and Shelby had on our social media and IRL community here at Pima. They helped grow this page over the past year and produced a LOT of informative, funny, and community-building content for Pima Community College.

Please support and congratulate Lourdes on the next big steps in her journey as she continues her work as an educator, author, and community builder here in Tucson!

Lourdes, we will miss you 😢 but we know you are off to do more amazing things!
