History has a lot to teach us about where innovation is headed next.

At the AURP 2026 International Conference, Cullum Clark, Director for Economic Growth at the George W. Bush Institute, will join us for Milestone Moments: What History Reveals About the Next Era of Innovation Leadership.

Cullum will look back at the moments that changed the innovation economy and what they can tell us about the shifts happening now. From the changing role of universities to new approaches to commercialization, the conversation will challenge leaders to think about what comes next for their own communities.

Following Cullum’s presentation, attendees will continue the conversation in a facilitated Leadership Roundtable focused on the opportunities, challenges and big decisions ahead.

As we count down to Dallas, we’re celebrating registration milestones that connect to some pretty exciting moments this year.

AURP and the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) have partnered on a new white paper, From Closure to Cluster: Anchoring Innovation After Economic Disruption, exploring how communities can turn major economic disruption into opportunities for long-term growth.
