Learning Russian gives students a competitive edge in the workplace. Now, UTulsa is expanding access to high-quality study abroad opportunities and critical language learning by partnering with Learn Russian in the European Union as a School of Record.

LREU specializes in Russian-language study abroad programs for students from American and European universities, government institutions and other organizations. Located in southeastern Latvia, Daugavpils provides an immersive setting for language learning.

Through this collaboration, UTulsa and LREU will support students seeking advanced language proficiency, deeper regional knowledge and preparation for careers in public service, international affairs, business and other globally engaged fields.

Building bridges across all levels of education: McFarlin Library recently hosted librarians from across the state for a conference that continues to exemplify how The University of Tulsa supports students of all ages.
President Stacy Leeds spoke about how librarians are the human connection that students need in the age of artificial intelligence, helping students make sense of the information they're reading.
UTulsa librarians shared their insights, resources and skills with Oklahoma school librarians to forge stronger relationships. McFarlin is proud to see this conference grow each year, allowing UTulsa staff members to impact our community, state, and future UTulsa students.

Expanding access to 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀: UTulsa has partnered with The Aspire Group, a homeschooling nonprofit organization, allowing their esports team to use the university’s Esports Lounge on campus to prepare for competitions.

At UTulsa, our Esports Lounge has plenty of gaming devices as well as a large board game library available to our students. The lounge has 16 MSI Gaming PCs, an Xbox Series X, three Nintendo Switch Consoles, and two PlayStation 5 consoles. The lounge also hosts events throughout the school year.
