Class of 2019, we did it! We did the impossible, something only 7% of people in the world get to achieve, a college degree!

Future graduates, make the best of your time with ASME as a student - go to the ASME Mid-Continent Tulsa professional events, go to the Tulsa Engineering Foundation events, make connections, become a chair, become a board member, and take the wealth of knowledge provided to you by your peers and sponsors and make the best of it in your journey ahead.

Thank you to Dr. Sallam for bringing ASME back to the OSU-Tulsa campus, and for giving me the opportunity to serve as the 2018-2019 Student Chair. I hope to continue to dedicate time each month to the Mid-Continent Chapter, and look forward to getting more involved given my new found freetime.

To all the friends and faculty I've met over the past *cough* 14 years, thank you for your support, for keeping me motivated, and not letting me give up. I'm signing off this page for the last time, but I'm not going anywhere. I'll still plan to be at events, offer support and leadership where I can, so if you need me you can reach me at [email protected], whether you need help with school, just want to hang out, or need advice on how to get ahead with ASME or life in general.

Take care my friends, I leave you in good hands.

“One of the most important undertakings for an engineer is improving power generation and storage. My hope is that this invention will be the first of many to reduce the cost and byproducts of power generation throughout the world.”
