🎉We are proud to announce the newest Bama Anthro alum - Dr. Lisa Brazelton! 🎉

Lisa successfully passed her dissertation defense just yesterday! Her dissertation, "H**p for Hope: Agency Among Alabama's Early H**p Producers," is an ethnographic study of 10 current h**p farmers in Alabama, two of whom attended her defense and are pictured. This presentation was dedicated to the memory of Dr. Ernie Cebert, a local h**p farmer & researcher who passed this year, and Dr. Lukacz Ciesla, Lisa's outside committee member who passed unexpectedly just a few weeks ago. We hope the 3-article dissertation Lisa produced does honor to their memories.
