We'd like to welcome OLLI’s new program coordinator for curriculum, Savannah Black! 🎉

A Tuscaloosa native, Savannah is passionate about education and community engagement. Earning degrees from The University of Alabama, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in History (2013) and an MA in Secondary Education (2019).
She worked in student programming and outreach at the University from 2013 to 2017. From 2019 to 2026, she taught civics, geography, and ancient world history at Sipsey Valley Middle School.

Outside of work, Savannah enjoys reading, mahjong, tennis and spending time with her husband Cameron and son Hargrove. She values connecting with others through shared interests and lifelong learning. ✨

• Tuscaloosa (UA campus at Bryant Conference Center): Two parking options:

1. UA Parking Permit: Park in Capstone Deck and surface lot.
2. Capstone Parking Deck: Pay hourly.
