We are pleased to share the appointment of Donald J. Leo, PhD, as the next president of The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Dr. Leo brings decades of experience advancing research, engineering education and institutional growth.

UAB School of Nursing has earned the highest possible honor for its Nurse-Midwifery Pathway: a five-year accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education.

As the only ACME-accredited program of its kind in Alabama, this milestone strengthens the future of maternal and infant care across our state: expanding access, improving outcomes and preparing the next generation of nurse-midwives.
