Delta Kappa Epsilon - Psi Chapter

This year, the new member class of Delta Kappa Epsilon has teamed up with ATO, Sigma Nu, SAE, Lambda Chi, TKE, Kappa Sig, Beta, Theta Chi, Phi Delt, Sig Tau, and BYX for a new philanthropy initiative built around one simple idea: seeing what we can accomplish when we work together. Our collective goal is to raise as much money as possible for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In just over 72 hours, we have raised an outstanding $36,520! Help us keep pushing to make an impact!

At the heart of this fundraiser is Amelie Cini, a 12-year-old from Lafayette, Louisiana, battling ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia), whose strength, courage, and determination inspired this entire project. She is being treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and is roughly halfway through her 2+ year treatment protocol. Through the incessant challenges associated with chemo, infections, and side effects, she has shown an incredible amount of strength and character and has been an inspiration to everyone around her! In her honor, we’ve named the initiative The Amelie Act.

This project has given our new member class the chance to work alongside members of other fraternities to use the power of the Greek community to make an impact far bigger than any one chapter could on its own.

Our chapter mourns the loss of our two brothers, McNeil Mostellar, ’28, and Walter Hensley, ’29, who passed away suddenly and tragically on July 1st.

To know Walter and McNeil was to know the very best that the Psi Chapter has to offer. Few men could captivate those around them so naturally, simply by being themselves. Their loss leaves an unfillable hole in the Psi Chapter, now and forever, and in the hearts of all who knew them. Though their time with us was far too short, their impact will remain with us forever.

Walter Hensley and McNeil Mostellar embodied the very best of the Gentleman, Scholars, and Jolly Good Fellows that the Psi Chapter has to offer. They have entered the Mystic Circle below none.

Psi DKE would like to congratulate Brothers Henry Lapeyrouse and Max Hawker on their recent induction into the 113th class of Jasons Men’s Senior Honorary.

Jasons Men’s Senior Honorary, founded in 1914, is one of the premier honor societies at the Capstone.

Each spring, the top 40 men on campus are selected based on their commitment to excellence in academics, community service, and campus involvement.

The first-ever Crimson Spurs Invitational that brought together DKE, SAE, Phi Gam, Sigma Nu, and KA to create something new.

Hunters competed on behalf of their fraternity, all for a greater cause.

$50 per hunter, with all proceeds benefiting Operation Iron Ruck.

Together, the event raised over $3,000.

Proud to be part of starting something like this, and proud of our chapter for winning the inaugural event.

This weekend, DKE raised over $25,000 for Hogs for the Cause, alongside SAE, supporting families battling pediatric brain cancer.

Proud of what our chapter was able to accomplish and grateful for everyone who showed up and supported.

Huge thank you to Team Fleur de Que and Lynton Cook, Brett Buttell, McNeil Robinson, James Rogers, Grayson Gallinghouse, Thomas Arendall, Saint Villere, and Henry Cook for planning, overseeing, and cooking the pig.
