Led by Mister Tuskegee University, David Larkin, this past weekend TU had a new beautification initiative that has come full circle with the completion of a new gazebo at the Younge basketball and tennis courts. Purchased last year with the help of the Supreme Exec SGA this project was brought to life through the hands of Tuskegee University students alongside TSACS administration, with furniture coming soon. Designed to provide a covered outdoor gathering space for students utilizing the recreational courts, this addition reflects a continued commitment to service and community, echoing the legacy of Booker T. Washington, who believed, “Nothing ever comes to one, that is worth having, except as a result of hard work.”

This Black History Month and as we step into Women’s History Month, the Tuskegee Royal Court proudly highlights the incredible life of Dr. Betty Shabazz— educator, civil rights advocate, and proud student of Tuskegee Institute.

From her commitment to education to her work alongside Malcolm X in the fight for justice, Dr. Shabazz embodied grace, resilience, and purpose. She showed us what it means to lead with both intellect and heart.

As women of Tuskegee, we stand on the shoulders of trailblazers like her. Her legacy reminds us that our voices matter, our education is powerful, and our impact can change generations.
