We’re excited to welcome Brian Crawford back to The University of Texas at Tyler as our 2024 Commencement alumni speaker on Saturday, Dec. 14! A proud UT Tyler alum (Class of '08), Brian is a first-generation college graduate who has dedicated his career to serving the Tyler community through mentoring, coaching and healthcare recruitment.

From his work at the Boys and Girls Club and YMCA to his current role as an entrepreneur and private sector educational consultant, Brian’s journey is a testament to perseverance, leadership and community impact. His inspiring story will be the perfect message for our graduates! 🎓

UT Tyler 2024 Fall Commencement Speaker Spotlight: Dr. Antay Waters! ✨

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Antay Waters back to The University of Texas at Tyler as our 2024 Commencement alumni speaker on Friday, Dec. 13! A proud alum of UT Tyler, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing Administration, Dr. Waters is now an assistant professor at East Texas Baptist University’s Teague School of Nursing. A board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife, Dr. Waters is a thought leader in women’s health, nursing education and healthcare risk management. She also volunteers with Refuge International in Guatemala and loves music, travel and community service. Her inspiring journey is sure to motivate and empower our graduates!
