We know how important it is to provide resources that will help you feel confident in the classroom. For our Fall 2025 Convention, we are co-sponsoring a guest speaker with the Texas Forensic Association to bring in education attorney Jarod Russell to offer insights and best practices regarding new legislation affecting Texas schools. We hope to see you at Convention, October 2-4, 2025, at the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center in Allen, Texas. Success! Your 2019 Polar Bear team returned National Community College Champions from AFA Nationals!!!! We also brought home the following individual National Champions from Phi Rho Pi: Carson Moreland in Prose, Nick White in IPDA Debate (went undefeated the entire tournament!), Cooper Ezell and Nick White in Parliamentary Debate (first TJC team to repeat as Gold winners!); Johnny Vasallo Silver in Prose Interpretation; Nick White Bronze in Impromptu and Cooper Ezell Bronze in IPDA Debate. Thank you for your support!

This group of students has had an amazing year. and they ended strong. First they took Top Honors Community College at the AFA-NIET and then they won Gold Overall Sweepstakes, Silver IE Sweeps and Gold Debate Sweeps at Phi Rho Pi. Two students, Alex Dickson, sophomore and Cooper Ezell, freshman, tied for second top speaker in the nation. We won seventeen different awards!
