Alpha Chi is a coeducational society whose purpose is to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those who achieve such distinction. Its name derives from the initial letters of the Greek words, which mean truth and character. he purpose of the society is to promote academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students and to honor those achieving such distinction. To be eligible for membership as an undergraduate, you must be at least a junior, have completed a minimum of 24 hours at UTT, and be ranked in the top ten percent of the students in your college with a minimum GPA of 3.5. To be eligible as a graduate student, you must have completed 15 hours at UTT, fall in the top ten percent of your college, and have a minimum GPA of 3.5.
