As-Salamu 'Alaykum (Peace Be Upon You)! We’re the Muslim Student Association of UTT! Our goal is to help unify the many Muslim students here on campus as well as educate others on Islam. Anyone is welcome to come join us to learn about Islam. We want to help people understand Islam as a religion and as a way of life in order to stop Islamophobia in America. We are a student group that collectively
shares moral commitments based on the foundations of Islam rooted in the Qur'an and Sunnah (Life of the Prophet Muhammad). This is the public page for the Muslim Students Association at the University of Texas at Tyler. UTT is home to a large number of Muslim students from a wide spectrum of cultural backgrounds and includes members of the various Sunni, Shi'i, and Ibadi schools of thought.
