Last week, Shawnee Community College hosted the ELITE Youth Entrepreneurship Camp.

We thank all the young men and women who participated in this event, as well as our instructors and coaches for the week.

This was a proud partnership between the Illinois Small Business Development Center at SCC, SIDEZ, and the University of Illinois Extension.

We handed out three $100 prizes, and each participant received a $50 check for completing the camp.

We're already looking forward to 2027!

Mackenzie was recently elected to the Union County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and Christopher was elected to the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
