Bantam students visited NYC to encounter original works of art, architecture, and theater as part of a summer course. Through this experience, students learned about NYC’s role as a major hub of history and culture and applied Walter Benjamin’s notion of aura in a contemporary context.

And your Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series Academic All-American presented by Yamaha Outboards for the 2025-2026 year is USC Union's Chase Rogers. Chase was the overall winner out of every college angler in the country for this award. This recognition represents more than success on the water—it highlights the commitment, discipline, and work put in behind the scenes in the classroom every single day. Balancing tournament preparation, travel, practice, and academics at a high level isn’t easy, and Chase continues to set the standard.

Chase has represented the USC Union Anglers the right way these last few years and continues to set the standard for what it means to be a student-athlete.

⛳️ Congratulations to our Bantams Golf team!!!

Proud of our USC Union Golf Team for having a 3.29 team GPA for the 2025 - 2026 season. These guys spend countless hours on the road traveling to tournaments, missing class to compete, and still continue to handle business in the classroom.

Collegiate golf takes a lot of discipline and sacrifice, and this group continues to represent The University of South Carolina Union the right way both on and off the course. Great work, guys!

Congratulations to the Fishing Team on earning an outstanding 3.48 Team GPA for the Spring 2026 semester!

Our anglers continue to prove that success doesn’t just happen on the water. Between early mornings, long practice days, countless miles on the road traveling to tournaments across the country, and time away from campus, these student-athletes continue to represent USC Union at a high level both academically and competitively.
