That's a wrap for the final event of the 2025-2026 Season. The James River was exactly as I expected, but we still managed to have two teams have solid finishes in the Top 20% of the field of 170. Super proud of these four freshmen guys that made the trip up to Virginia and gave it their all on a tough unfamiliar tidal fishery. Going to take a few weeks off to recharge and get ready for the 2026-2027 season.

Day 1 of the James River event is in the books. Both USCU teams have left themselves with a shot to qualify for the National Championship tomorrow. Hogan & Jackson are currently 16th and Jacob & Cam are in 56th. One more day....
