“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” - Lao Tzu

Penn State Law in University Park’s LL.M. Program attracts lawyers and students from across the globe. We are a diverse group—the Class of 2020 includes more than 100 students from 6 continents and representing 27 nationalities. Once on campus, LL.M. students become part of our community while they complete the one-year master of laws degree. We help students transition to life in the United States and at Penn State with a robust orientation program, which includes a Welcome Picnic, Introduction to the U.S. Legal System course, and class trip to Washington, D.C. Once the academic year begins, LL.M. students are immersed in an innovative legal curriculum that prepares them for success in law, government, academics, and non-governmental organizations. WE ARE Penn State Law!
