Honors Spotlight: Angelika Babicz

Angelika is an English Literature major with minors in Marketing and the Honors College, and a member of the Dual Degree Program. During her time at GovState, she has been actively involved across campus, working with Marketing and Communications and serving as the Founding Member and Vice President of Reading Jaguars, the university’s book club.

Her passion for literature has guided her journey, and one of her proudest accomplishments is being published in Reconstructed, GovState’s Art and Literary Journal.

Who's in the mood for some gardening??? DDP of course!

Last Saturday, DDP volunteered at "It Takes a Village Community Farm" in Sauk Village, IL. In partnership with Just Roots Chicago, it Takes a Village Community Farm is a regenerative farm that offers affordable fresh produce to local communities and educational programs for all ages. We planted leafy green seedlings, and the sun came out just in time for a tour of the inspiring facility 🐞🌱

This academic year the Dual Degree Program contributed over 80 hours of service to local communities 🌟🧡🌎 BRAVO and THANK YOU for all of your hard work!!
