Penn State Women In Business Our mission is to increase the recruitment and retention of women students in the Smeal College of B Women in Business (WIB) began in October of 1997.

During the spring semester of 1998, WIB received its official charter from the University. Starting out with just a membership of seven (the entire executive board), WIB has grown enormously over the past nine years, and now boasts over 300 members. WIB welcomes both male and female undergraduate students of all major into the organization. Women In Business's foundation for all events and program
