Professor Mitchell Kauffman, a UCSB alum who built KWM Wealth Advisory from the ground up, is here to share his insights with us. He’ll tell his story of going from a curious Business Economics major at UCSB to founding his own firm, Kauffman Wealth Management Inc. Then he’ll turn the spotlight on us: how to set up a no‑stress starter portfolio while you’re still in school, make a budget that leaves room for weekend trips, and plant retirement seeds now so your future self can chill. Snacks and drinks provided! Come curious, bring questions, and walk out with a clear plan you can put to work the same day.
