The Civil Engineering program at the University of Mississippi, continuously accredited by ABET since 1949, is a strong and vibrant program that prepares students for professional practice serving the public. With a 20:1 student to faculty ratio, students enjoy small classes and the ability to interact closely with faculty, staff, and other students. The program also offers excellent leadership an

d experiential learning opportunities via co-op undertakings, ASCE concrete canoe and steel bridge annual competitions, Chi Epsilon and ITE student chapters, undergraduate research assistantships, as well as overseas outreach activities with the EWB chapter.
