Congratulations to our brothers Connor Gee and Braeden Watters on being named to the University of Mississippi’s Hall of Fame, the highest honor awarded to Ole Miss students. This recognition reflects their exceptional leadership, service, and lasting impact on the Ole Miss community. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved honor and grateful for the way they represent Kappa Alpha Upsilon both on and off campus.

In October 2011, three Ole Miss freshmen and KA brothers—Clayton Kelly, Walker Kelly, and Mason Wilbanks—tragically lost their lives in a car accident on their way back to Oxford to go to church with their pledge brothers. Their loss continues to be felt across our chapter and serves as a lasting reminder of the impact they made.

In their honor, Maxwell Pearson, Sam Storm, and Andrew Brock have been named recipients of the Kelly, Kelly, and Wilbanks Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship was created to carry on their legacy and is awarded to those who reflect strong character, leadership, and a genuine commitment to the chapter. We are deeply grateful to the boys’ families and donors who continue to honor their memory through this meaningful gift.

In February, our Executive Officers traveled to Atlanta for the Officer Training Conference, where Alpha Upsilon was honored to receive the Samuel Zenas Ammen Award and the George C. Marshall Award for Chapter Excellence.

The Ammen Award recognizes chapters ranking in the top 10–15% nationwide, while the Marshall Award is presented to the top 1–3 chapters in the Order.

We’re proud of the work being done within the chapter and grateful for the alumni and supporters who continue to invest in Alpha Upsilon.

On October 2, 2025, No. V Homer Sledge IV and No. VI Ewing Milam III, along with House Mother Aunt Mary and Alumnus Advisor Trey Horne, traveled to Jackson for the Irwin Province Court of Honor induction and dinner, where Brother Sledge provided an update to the Court on the activities of Alpha Upsilon.

“The purpose of the Court of Honor is to recognize and honor alumni for their continuing interest, support, and participation in the Order, its active chapters, or its alumni chapters, and to stimulate the growth and strength of the Order, its chapters, and members.”

The Chapter salutes Alpha Upsilon alumni inductees: William Alynn Brown, Sr., Steven Culver Craddock, Christopher Carey Johnston, Michael Hunter McGee, Duane Tally Noah and Daniel Starr Spivey.

Congratulations, we appreciate your continued contributions and support of the Order and Alpha Upsilon Chapter!
