The Sigma Chapter is proud to be a part of the Panhellenic Community at Louisiana State University. Our chapter maintains a high standard of excellence within our national organization and on LSU’s campus. At the LSU Greek Awards this year we were honored to receive the Most Improved Chapter due to our development of a health and welfare committee in response to overcoming challenges. We also received awards in Exceptional Health, Safety, and Wellbeing. Our Chapter Advisor, Suzette Say, was awarded Chapter Advisor of the Year, and our 2022-2023 Vice President of Philanthropy, Madelyn Miller, was awarded Volunteer of the Year! Our members are active in the Baton Rouge community, volunteering for the St.Lillian Academy, The Emerge Center, and Louisiana School for the Deaf and Visually Impaired. We raise over $60,000 each year for our national philanthropic organizations by hosting the Miss LSU pageant. Sigma has hosted the pageant since 1998 and is nationally recognized as a part of the Miss USA circuit. Chapter members are also extremely involved on campus in numerous organizations, including LSU Ambassadors, Student Government, Bat Girls, S.T.R.I.P.E.S., Panhellenic Executive Board, Manship Ambassadors, the LSU Honors College, Up Till Dawn, Rotaract, Alpha Epsilon Delta, Greek Board of Directors, Rho Lambda, Sigma Alpha Pi, Order of Omega, Mortar Board, Omicron Delta Kappa, Beta Alpha Psi, and Public Relations Student Society of America.
