Any full time member of the CCSO that wants to run for a board member position on the FOP Lodge 209 board, please let me know or send an email to me at [email protected] by Friday October 4. Reminder that you do not get union days to work on FOP Lodge items and all of this will be done on your own time. There is also no pay for these positions.

In honor of Betty White our Fop Lodge is donating $100 worth of items to the Clark County Dog Wardens office to help with the care of the animals. This would have been her 100 birthday today and people were encouraged to donate to the local shelters so we did just that!! It’s never too late to donate to them they can always use the help!!

On Tuesday May 12, 2020 the Clark County Deputies FOP Lodge 209 will be at Frischs On Bechtle Avenue from 4pm to 8pm. During this time, we will be giving away Free HOT FUDGE CAKES to each car with a purchase. These are being given to each car as a Thank You to the public for their understanding and Kindness during this COVID 19 pandimic. There will also be other giveaways during this time. Please stop out and support your local restaurants and enjoy a Free Hot Fudge Cake on us. Again, this will be Tuesday May 12, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm at the Frischs Location on Bechtle Avenue only.

FOP Lodge 209 making a financial donation to the Springfield Cancer Center as part of our October Breast Cancer donations. We also made a donation to the Pink Ribbon Girls and 2 other individuals that they or their family is battling breast cancer. Thank you to all the organizations who purchased our pink badges so we could once again make these donations to help these individuals and wonderful organizations.

FOP Meeting. We will be having an FOP Meeting on Wednesday October 10, 2018 at the Moorefield Family Park Shelter House at 6pm. Please note the date and time has changed from the previous post due to scheduling conflicts.

Clark County Deputies FOP Lodge 209 will once again be offering a $500.00 non-renewable scholarship this year. I am sorry for sending this out later than in the past years but time kinda got away from me on this.

The scholarship is open to any FOP member's child. This can be a child entering college or one that is already in college and applying for scholarship as well.

If you want a Scholarship Application, I will have those available starting Monday May 7. Please email me back if you want an application. Applications will be due no later than Friday May 25 at 1600 hours. There will be no exceptions on this as this is the deadline set so the applications can be reviewed and voted on. I will have two outside people read and vote on these applications.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for the Position of Deputy Sheriff. Several vacancies are expected to be filled in the near future.



The Clark County Sheriff's Office requires persons of high character with intelligence, sound judgment, and physical stamina who have an aptitude for law enforcement duties and who can work together in a disciplined organization.



The incumbent performs law enforcement duties and non-law enforcement duties directly related to public safety and service. These duties include, but are not limited to: promoting and maintaining public image, responding to calls for service of a non-enforcement nature, jail and court security, preventing, detecting and investigating crime, enforcing violations of criminal and traffic statutes, serving criminal warrants and providing protection services.
