UCSD Hong Kong Student Union Hong Kong Student Union, found in the year of 1987, is a social-oriented club. We are open to all UCSD students who are interested in Hong Kong culture.

The University of California San Diego, Hong Kong Student Union (HKSU) is the only officially recognized Cantonese-speaking student organization founded in 1997. UCSD香港學生會(簡稱:HKSU)是大學官方認可的廣東話學生團體。HKSU成立於1987年，自創下來，HKSU的規模每年一直在擴張。至今，已成為UCSD內，其中最踴躍的國際學生團體之一。

HKSU hosts numerous social events every quarter. The infamous ones are the MahJong Competition, Ski Trip, Singing Contest, Annual Clubbing event, Graduation Dance, and the Joint-UC Karaoke Contest with all the HK clubs within the UC system. Other events include bowling nights, movie nights, study groups, quarterly KTV gatherings + dinners. Annual membership is obtained at the club's orientation in the beginning of Fall quarter. This membership grants you numerous priviledges around La Jolla and San Diego. Generally with the membership card in hand, members would receive discount in many restaurants and stores. This year’s internal vice president for HKSU is Isaac!😝 He works hand in hand with all our different boards to come up with fun and exciting events, updating the calendar, and to make sure that our venues are set.

A little more about Isaac: he is a fourth year psychology major in ERC. A definite foodie who travel far just to get the perfect meal🍽️. If you see him on campus, he will most definitely have a boba in hand🧋. He is constantly on his phone so hit him up if you need anything.

Meet Sophie, HKSU’s external vice president!! 🫦Despite growing up in Hong Kong, her canto is a little shaky, but you can always hit her up using Chinese or French instead 😙 When she isn’t working to get HKSU’s members the best discounts possible (pls buy our membership card!! she also designed them 🔥), she’s either napping or crying over doomed rom coms. If you ever want to hear some tea or need a running partner, don’t hesitate to say hi 💕

Meet Roslyn, HKSU’s media director this year! 🎬💕She‘s in charge of reels and video form content for the social platforms!

When she’s not doomscrolling in bed trying to plot HKSU‘s next reel idea, she is either going out to eat, getting a fun drink, or rewatching Haikyu for the millionth time. Roslyn’s also from Vegas, and her family owns a fire HK BBQ restaurant called Win Kee (shameless plug go visit😛). If you need a charsiu plug and/or are super swaggy and cool, hit her up, she‘s always down to chat! You’ll also catch her at home basketball games on the sideline because she‘s a cheerleader! (if you clip me tho watch ur back😙✌️)🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️She might be a busy gal, but Roslyn will pop up at random events, just gotta keep coming to find her😉

Introducing Nic, HKSU’s Marketing Director for this year! 🌟

Nic is a second-year ICAM major and Cinematic Arts minor. Having played doubles tennis in high school and practicing martial arts right here at UCSD. He’s a workaholic but you’ll usually spot Nic at the Main Gym or occasionally stargazing around campus. Off duty, Nic is a big fan of anime and gaming, so don‘t hesitate to reach out and say hi! 🎾🥋✨

佢係一個典型嘅I人，比較慢熱，搵唔到佢嘅時候就知道佢喺屋企瞓緊覺😴
但係唔使擔心，最快同佢熟落嘅方法就係同佢飲返兩shots🍻
佢平時仲好鍾意去唔同餐廳試新野，所以最容易約到佢嘅方法就係帶佢去食好西😋
