Mid-State Technical College Early Childhood Education Program Our work is child's play! Mid State Technical College is serious about child's play. Full time students can earn their degree in two years.

If you enjoy working with children and families, then this is the program for you! If you have previous teaching experience, contact our instructors for information about receiving credit for prior experience. Graduates also have transfer opportunities to 4 year Universities where they can earn their teaching license for 4K-12 teaching opportunities. Career opportunities include preschool teacher,

child care provider, family care provider, Early Head Start lead teacher, Head Start assistant teacher, 4K or 5K regular or special education aide, and substitute teaching in 4K-12.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to this hardworking group of professionals. They have spent the last 1️⃣4️⃣ Wednesday nights with me! In 16 weeks they have completed 9 credits and earned their Lead Teacher Certificate! 🎓. It has been a pleasure learning together. Night classes resume this fall on our Wisconsin Rapids Campus!
