We had the pleasure of welcoming Josh Block, President of Block Imaging, to the Innovation Hub. Josh spoke at chapel, an InnoChat, and was a part of multiple meetings with students during his visit. He discussed his book "People Matter at Work", allowing students to see what it is like to lead a successful business.

“The biggest idea that I took away was humility in the workplace. When you approach a new role or conversation, you must be humble and know that there are people with a lot more experience than you, and it is okay not to know everything. That is the point of a team." - Jack Goad, Junior Marketing and Management Major

Thank you to Josh Block and his family for joining us!

Fizz@Four was a powerful reminder that networking isn’t about collecting business cards — it’s about building meaningful relationships. From practical tips to real-life stories of unexpected connections turning into career opportunities, the conversation was both insightful and energizing.

Many thanks to our incredible panel who shared with wisdom, insight, and a heart for true servant-leadership David Faust, Whitney Luther, Nathan Suddarth, and Charlotte Adams.

Special thanks also to our Ignite Innovation Corps for your efforts in planning and organizing- Rhoda Belachew who brought the vision to life and Sean Fields for serving as host and Emcee.

Professor Erica Elliott and Dr. Lonnie Leeper had the privilege of taking eleven Taylor University business students to the Kingdom Advisors Redeeming Money Conference in Orlando, joining more than 2,700 financial professionals and 250 students committed to integrating biblical wisdom with financial expertise. This experience was a powerful reminder of what happens when faith, vocation, and education come together with purpose.

For our students, this was more than a conference — it was an opportunity to see firsthand what it looks like to pursue a career as a calling. Through worship, teaching, breakout sessions, and meaningful conversations with practitioners and alumni, they experienced a community of professionals stewarding their gifts for Kingdom impact. Moments like these help students connect classroom learning to eternal purpose and discern how God may be leading them to serve others through their work.

We are incredibly proud of this group for stepping into the experience with curiosity, humility, and a desire to grow!
