People often ask what you can do with a philosophy degree.

For some answers, check out the story of Junior Philosophy and Public Relations major Elias Seeman and how Taylor Philosophy prepared him for a summer internship at Operation Mobilization.

Elias Seeman's internship at Operation Mobilisation gave him first-hand experience in using his gifts and knowledge to build God's kingdom.

This weekend Elias, a TU Philosophy Junior, attended a Christian Leadership retreat in upstate Washington at the Cascades Camp hosted by the Murdock Trust. He attended with other interns from Operation Mobilization which is where Elias interned this summer.

This retreat brought together more than for 40 faith-based organizations for a time of focused attention on how to become more effective both in witness and work with the aim of making God and His name known.

Elias said that "it was a great opportunity to be a part of this retreat and get to learn from Christian peers and leaders. These are the kinds of opportunities that studying Philosophy at Taylor has provided."
