Sixteen people (seniors, friends, and other ProWrites) joined us to celebrate our seniors at Junior's Grill in Gas City on Monday, May 18. As always, Prof Taylor read a portion of writing from each senior and gave them silly books that connect with them, their writing, or their planned futures. Congrats to our class of 2026!

Children are natural wonderers: What’s under the rug? What happens if cotton candy gets wet? These curiosity-driven questions can lead to engaging picture book plots that teach both STEM concepts and social-emotional lessons. In this interactive session, Cindy Lynn Sawyer will demonstrate how to transform a childlike question into a full-fledged story that blends facts with feelings.
