* The Condition: SCD is an inherited blood disorder that causes red blood cells to change from a round shape into a crescent or "sickle" shape, leading to chronic anemia and blocked blood flow.

* Impact: It affects an estimated 100,000 people in the United States and millions worldwide, disproportionately impacting Black and African American communities.

* Awareness Color: Burgundy or dark red is the official color used to signify sickle cell awareness.

To launch this mission, the Zeta Iota Chapter gathered for our Annual Retreat to reconnect, recharge, and lay a strong foundation for everything to come.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the retreat committee for their outstanding work in bringing this vision to life.

We are incredibly proud of our College Guidance Group, Kappa Omicron Tau.

They delivered a shipment of diapers and wipes to the Kenmoor Early Childhood Center. These donations provide direct support to the school’s youngest learners and give much-needed relief to local families.
