Beetles, birds, and snakes..... Oh my! We are incredibly grateful for the man of the hour, Tom Hissong, for taking us on a guided walk into Pointe North Nature Park. Amongst the 30+ documented plant, bird, and insect species identified - we were welcomed to the space by a gorgeous black rat snake. Thank you to all who joined to bask in our local treasure. A very special thank you to Champaign Berry Farm and Marc Stadler for hosting us for up close and personal farm tours. Year-long exposure to continuing education is an important element of our program and we are immensely grateful for the folks and farms who welcome us to see their operations.
