Our collaborative approach provides faculty, researchers, and students access to experts in digital content creation and analysis; scholarly communication; geospatial, textual, and numeric data analysis; and innovative teaching and learning methods. The Scholarly Commons is a technology-enriched space for faculty, researchers, and graduate students to pursue research and receive expert copyright,
data, digital humanities, digitization, scholarly communications, and usability consultation services at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Scholarly Commons sustains a variety of training opportunities and learning resources related to topics such as text-encoding, digitization, OCR, usability, and data analysis. We also review new tools, introduce resources, and discuss developments in scholarly communication on our blog, Commons Knowledge. Graduate assistants are on hand at the Scholarly Commons to get you started and an expert will be made available to you for consultation. We encourage drop-ins but also recommend filling out a consultation form so that we can best prepare for your visit.
