🌱✨ This week we are highlighting two of our Department of Crop Sciences Registered Student Organizations for Undergraduates! First up, check out what Field & Furrow have been up to this academic year!

From classrooms to conferences, these Crop Sciences students have been busy growing connections and knowledge all year long. 💡🌾

They hosted mixers, led contest practices, and organized industry panels to build community and sharpen their skills.

In the fall, they traveled to Salt Lake City for CANVAS, a premier annual scientific conference hosted by the American Society of Agronomy (ASA), Crop Science Society of America (CSSA), and Soil Science Society of America (SSSA). There, they connected with students, researchers, and professionals while exploring agriculture and cutting-edge work in agronomic, soil, and environmental sciences.

This spring, they headed to Purdue for the SASES meeting, where they toured Indiana agriculture (hello, dairy farms, distilleries, and popcorn hybrids 🍿🐄) and competed in crops judging and pedology contests alongside students from across the country.

We love seeing our students get hands-on, make connections, and represent our department so well! 👏🌍
