Chemical and biomolecular engineering alum Liam Flood (BS 20) was a former chimesplayer at Altgeld Hall, where his love for this campus tradition inspired him to write an extensive history of the building and its music. Through his extensive research, Flood hopes that next generation will keep the musical bells alive.

When Liam Flood (BS, ’20, chemical and biomolecular engineering) first toured the University of Illinois as a high school student, he heard plenty of campus legends about Altgeld Hall.

This year's keynote speaker is Dennis M. Houston (BS 74), who retired from Exxon Mobil in 2010 after more than 35 years of company service and about 40 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
