With graduation just around the corner we want to take the time to highlight all of our graduates! 🎓

Marley Lammers: My favorite memory was performing in Oklahoma and Anastasia, and getting to wear two of the most gorgeous costumes I’ve ever worn! (Dream Ballet Bridesmaid Dress and Tatiana Romanov Dress)

Jana Dinkeloo: My favorite memory here was getting to be part of Little Women! It’s one of my favorite stories ever and getting to do it with such a wonderful group was so amazing!

Christopher Commiso: Performing Fugitive Songs at the Rose Bowl Tavern is one of my favorite memories while studying at The University of Illinois!

Yoo Jin Jung: My favorite memories were performing on stage, from solo recitals to ensemble performances. Every moment was so meaningful and filled with happiness!

Maggie Hancock: It is so hard to choose a favorite memory, but my favorite moments always happened during tech for our shows. Everyone is spending so much time together so we end up with countless funny moments and inside jokes!

Evan Raymond: There are so many wonderful memories I made while I studied here. Having to choose only one is super hard, but I think playing Curly in Oklahoma truly was a life changing experience for me. Not only did that help me come back to musical theater after doing opera for so long, but the cast, crew, and the show itself made Illinois feel like home. I’ll never forget the wonderful people I met and the wonderful art we made on stage together for those four nights.

Cyanne Chan: My favorite memory with Lyric Theatre was performing in Under The Stars!

Xin Zhou: My favorite memory is probably just the feeling of growing and changing over these years. So many moments, big and small, ended up meaning a lot to me.

Grace Kreps: My favorite memory was our tech days for Anastasia! I assistant directed the production and getting to see all of the technical elements come together was so exciting and rewarding!

Emily Venturella: My favorite memory was forming the Huitaca Ensemble with composer and DMA student Felipe Hoyos-González, later recording an album with him thanks to the Presser Graduate Music Award! Our album, “Reminiscencia” is coming out at the end of this month!

Chris Pettersen: My favorite memory while studying here was performing in Lyric Theatre’s Under The Stars!
