Happy Dashain from Utica University’s Nepali students! Even though we are far from home, we celebrated with our friends and shared our traditions with pride. While we smile in these moments, our hearts are with Nepal and the families who lost loved ones during the recent protests. We celebrate with love, remember with pain, and pray for peace and healing.

Hey everyone, our country is going through one of its hardest times. Houses are burning, prisoners are breaking free, corruption is everywhere, and heartbreaking news of violence, even r**e, is spreading. The situation in Kathmandu and all over Nepal has left us all shaken, and the loss of the martyr student is a pain we all carry.
In these dark and chaotic days, I feel we must come together — not only to share what’s happening, but to support one another with compassion and strength morally. Let’s gather, light candles for the martyr, and stand united, reminding ourselves that even in grief, our unity gives us hope.

Our hearts are heavy today. Generation Z youth in Nepal have taken to the streets to protest against corruption and injustice. Many brave young lives have already been lost, and countless others are injured.Let us stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters back home. May their voices for freedom and justice not go unheard.🇳🇵
