🎨 Meet Finn Smith!

At Pratt Munson students spend their first two years studying in Utica as part of the Munson community before continuing their BFA degree at Pratt’s Brooklyn campus. One student making the most of that experience is Finn Smith ’29, a Sculpture and Integrated Practices major from Reno, Nev.

Finn had an accomplished first year as a Student Leader and member of the Dean’s Advisory Board, and this year he’ll serve as a Resident Assistant in Cottage Place.

His favorite thing about Pratt Munson? The people. “Everyone is so receptive to either teaching or assisting you in your own personal art goals,” he says. “It has helped foster my own confidence and joy in art!”

Finn is also drawn to large-scale, interactive installations that invite viewers to move, play and experience art in their own way.

We’re excited to see what’s next for this talented and involved student! ✨
