For everyone asking 👀

The wrapped street light poles downtown are currently being refurbished as part of the City’s downtown improvement project. A total of 126 poles are being sandblasted and recoated to protect them from weather damage and keep Gatlinburg looking beautiful year-round.

The poles are temporarily encapsulated while crews work on them to safely contain the sandblasting and repainting process. They’ll be uncovered once completed.

Just a little glow-up season for downtown .

Walker & Alex On The Grammy Red Carpet — Black Tuxedo, Black Cowboy Hat, Little Black Dress, Black Heels — The Most Perfectly Coordinated Most Effortlessly Stunning Musical Night That The Walker Texas Ranger Power Couple Has Ever Delivered To The Entertainment World.
Let us simply appreciate what is happening here.
Walker — black tuxedo, crisp white dress shirt, perfect black bow tie, those beautiful tuxedo studs catching the camera flash — and that legendary black cowboy hat sitting exactly where it always sits and always will sit, at the Grammy Awards or anywhere else on earth the man ever chooses to stand. That wedding ring. That warm genuine smile of a man who recorded the Eyes of the Ranger theme song and therefore has every right to attend the Grammys with his head held high and his hat placed perfectly. Nobody earned this carpet more.
And Alex beside him — that gorgeous classic black cocktail dress, beautifully fitted with that perfect full skirt, those elegant black heels that add exactly the right amount of height, those magnificent golden curls completely free and luminous against the grey Grammy backdrop. Her hand resting on his arm with the easy natural comfort of someone exactly where she belongs. That radiant smile. Those eyes. Just completely, utterly beautiful.
The Grammy logo repeating behind them on that step-and-repeat backdrop is almost too perfect. Because Walker and Alex brought music into our lives long before this red carpet. Every Saturday night for eight seasons, that theme song meant something was about to begin. Something worth watching. Something worth remembering.
And now here they are. At the actual music awards. In matching black. Completely magnificent.
The eyes of the ranger are upon you. And tonight those eyes are watching the Grammys.
Texas showed up. Texas dressed impeccably. Texas brought the cowboy hat.
As Texas always does.
