Do you know a rising 9th-12th grader who loves chemistry or just wants to find out what it’s all about?
We are pleased to announce the 3rd Annual Chemistry Camp organized by the VSU Department of Chemistry and Geosciences, June 2-6, 9 am – 1 pm. Each day, professors from the Department lead rising 9th-12th grade students through exciting and educational chemistry experiments. The registration fee is $125 and includes lunch each day with VSU chemistry students and faculty!
Here’s what students will do each day in Chemistry Camp:
--Solve crimes with DNA.
--Make glow in the dark reactions.
--Find how much caffeine tea and coffee contain.
--Prepare and run chemistry demonstrations.
--Make and use photovoltaic and photoelectrochemical cells.
