Clark closed out the North Region Challenge against No. 1 Bellevue College, falling in three sets, 17-25, 13-25, 15-25.

Abigail Heberle led the Penguins with seven kills, while Lilli Dean added five kills on nine attempts, hitting .444. Grace Whalen recorded 13 assists and eight digs.

Defensively, Serenity Marshall finished with a team-high 16 digs, while Jacey Hutchinson added eight digs and was perfect from the service line. Emily Capen also recorded three aces.

Clark finished the opening weekend 1-3.

Clark rallied from an 0–2 deficit to complete the reverse sweep over Tacoma Community College, winning 24-26, 17-25, 25-15, 25-17, 15-8.

Emily Capen led the Penguins with 14 kills and 12 digs, while Grace Whalen recorded 30 assists, 14 digs, eight kills and three aces. Serenity Marshall added three aces and eight digs.

Jacey Hutchinson contributed nine digs and an ace, serving 20 times with just one error. Lilli Dean and Sophia Trevino each added seven kills.

Five sets. Full comeback. 🐧

Clark battled Olympic College in its second match of the North Region Challenge, falling in three sets, 23-25, 13-25, 20-25.

Lilli Dean led the Penguins offensively with eight kills and two blocks, while Grace Whalen recorded 22 assists.

Abigail Heberle added four kills, while Yui Nukari and Emily Capen each finished with 13 digs. Serenity Marshall contributed 12 digs and two aces.

Clark finished with 55 digs and 28 kills in the match.

Clark opened the North Region Challenge against Edmonds College, falling in three sets, 19-25, 20-25, 17-25.

Serenity Marshall led the Penguins defensively with 17 digs, while Grace Whalen recorded 13 assists and three blocks. Emily Capen led Clark with five kills.

Ava Baugher contributed across the court with two kills, five digs and an ace, while Sophia Trevino added three kills and two blocks.

The Penguins finished the match with 49 digs and seven blocks.

will join the 2026 Clark College Volleyball Team! Lilli is a stand-out Middle Blocker from Rainier High School, and brings both offensive and defensive power to the net.

“I’m super excited to play volleyball for Clark! I wasn’t originally planning on playing in college, so I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity. I’m really looking forward to playing alongside girls I’ve already known and meeting new people!”

“Lilli is the type of player who changes the energy in a gym the moment she steps on the court. At 6’2”, she brings a commanding presence at the net, but what stands out most is how naturally she impacts every phase of the match. She’s competitive, composed, and has the kind of ceiling that makes you excited about the future of our program at Clark College,” said Head Coach Katie Wells.

will join the 2026 Clark College Volleyball Team! Serenity comes from Ridgefield High School and is transferring from an NCAA D3 Program to compete as a Penguin.

“I’m so excited to continue my academic and volleyball career at Clark! Thank you to my family, friends, coaches, and teammates for supporting me every step of the way. I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait for what’s ahead!”

“Serenity has shown tremendous growth over the last year and we are so excited to add such an all-out defender to our team!
