🍁Gardeners: Our next workdays are:

Wednesday: October 9th - cleanup
Saturday: October 12th - cleanup

Location: Heritage Farm @ 78th Street Garden - (1919 NE 78th St, Vancouver . .. across from Grovers)
Time: 9 am to Noon (Come when you can: if only for an hour, two hours or all three!)

Bring: (Suggestions) - gloves, water (plenty of water), hat, jacket, knee cushion, sunscreen, and wear closed-toed shoes . . . BE PREPARED for all kinds of weather !

What's Happening in the Garden?
So far harvest this year exceeds 57 ton (114,000 pounds). GOOD JOB VOLUNTEERS . . . but we still need you!
Now that fall is here, it's cleanup time and we need your energy to complete the Garden process.
There are still carrots in the field but we are waiting for them to mature . . .need some sunshine. ☀
CIP volunteers - When you arrive, sign in on CIP's Volunteer Service Log clipboard.
Plan to park at the entry level parking area and walk up to the Garden.
When at Heritage Farm, drive slow (10 mph). There may be people crossing the road and children not watching out for you! If you are making dust you are driving too fast.
See you in the Garden . . .
