During our Lend a Hand Donation Drive, we will be collecting donations for Call to Freedom, which is a non-profit organization in Sioux Falls that provides "supportive services for victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. By creating a strong network of frontline providers who offer safe housing, mental health counseling, medical assistance, chemical dependency, transportation and other supportive services."
This event runs from January 18th - February 18th
Items We Are Collecting:
- Bathroom and Kitchen Towels
- Garbage cans and bags
- Mops/brooms/vacuums
- Lysol/microban disinfectant spray
- Clorox wipes
- Women’s leggings and sweats L-3XL
- Sweatshirts/t-shirts L-3XL
- Underwear 7-9
- Sports bras S-3XL
- Shoes 7-10
- Zippered wallets/wristlets
- Laundry detergent/dryer sheets
- Bus passes
- Gift Cards (Visa, Lewis Drug, Hy-Vee, Walmart, Dollar Tree, Ace Hardware, Gas Cards from Holiday or Casey’s)
- Winter boots 8-10
- Jackets L-3XL
- Hats
- Gloves
- Scarves
We will be placing donation boxes across the USD campus during this event. These boxes are in Richardson/Olson, Beede/Mickelson, Burgess/Norton, Brookman, Coyote Village, McFadden, and Dakota Hall.
If you would like to donate gift cards, please bring them to the Dakota Hall drop-off location.
