19 years. It does not seem like that much time has passed us. For many this was a historical event that we did not expect to live through. And history is something that we do not know about until the event is just that... history.

Today, we remember the people who were on those flights, in those buildings, and the people who ran towards the destruction and the chaos. A time in our history where we came together as one country to stand and say, "We are one."

Today, take a moment. Take a moment to look at someone and let them know you have their back. Do something kind. Pay for a meal. Help someone to their feet. Do something to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to allow you to keep being yourself.

Always remember that fateful day.

We would like to thank all of our Mothers for being so great and helpful to us! Whether it is making a long drive to help, phone calls to help cook a Thanksgiving turkey, or just a support when we need it most thank you!! Happy Mother's Day to all of the Moms and Mr. Moms out there!!!

Unfortunately, we had to cancel fish fry. We also ended up with 80 lbs. of Alaskan Po***ck.

Fortunately, we were able to donate all 80 lbs. to The Banquet in Sioux Falls. This is a very difficult time for many people and for people who were already struggling, it is not getting easier. Please remember your local food banks and dinner services who are helping out the families who might be struggling at this time.

Please consider donating to Vermillion Food Pantry or Vermillion Welcome Table!! Attached is a list of items they will most likely be looking for. If you have any questions please ask below and one of our members will answer your questions to the best of our abilities.

As we slowly count now the hours, we start thinking about not only the past year that we've had but the past decade. Every moment that we have had has led us to who we are and who we are becoming. Phi Kappa Theta has had quite the decade and year. Besides officially being on the USD campus for 10 years, meeting tons of new people and having new experiences over the past 10 years we have made several new an exciting achievements. We have had record philanthropy events including several new ones like our Phi Kappa Theta Car Show for Kids, which is raised over $3,000 and its first 2 years of being put on. We would like to thank our entire community of USD, Vermillion, and South Dakota. Without your help, support, and desire 2 help us strive to live by our motto: Give; Expecting Nothing Thereof, we would not be able to do half of the amazing things that we have done. Please stay tuned for some great thing coming from Phi Kappa Theta in the next year and the next decade. Happy New Year everyone from the Men of Phi Kappa Theta!!!

First off we would like to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We hope but everyone has a safe and filling Thanksgiving! And now let's talk about Devon Miller. To say that this brother has had an eventful week would be the understatement of the year!! Today is Devon's birthday, Thanksgiving, earlier this week Devon was voted president of our chapter and Devon has just gotten engaged!! Congratulations to Devon and Happy Birthday!!
