I truly don’t even know how to put into words how grateful I am for the love and support that I have gained through 🤍

Four of my sweet sisters took time out of their weekend to come and surprise me in Rolling Fork to volunteer and donated many items to those who lost everything in the tornado. The love, kindness, and friendship these girls have shown not only me, but my community is something I can’t even begin to describe!

Lydia, McKay Lee, Meredith, and Natalya — I truly can not thank each of you enough for everything you’ve done! Our bond is something I cherish every single day! I am beyond grateful that we are apart of a sisterhood, but also even more grateful of the friendship that has come out of that! I love you each so much!

Sisterhood is so important and I am thankful for my girls always reminding me what that word means 🤍

I also got to love on my girl, & the sweetest emotional support service dog, Otis 🥰

One common statement that people will say about Delta State University is that it feels like a home away from home. Being a nursing student, I spend more time with my classmates and teachers than I do alone or with my family, so naturally over the last year our class has become a family. Today, my sweet DSU family drove to Rolling Fork to help out the members of our community during the worst days of their lives!

Thank you to my classmates, teachers, the BSU, and friends for helping our community in anyway that they could! I am so thankful for Delta State allowing opportunities and support throughout this tragic time. Words can never explain how thankful I am for all of these people! If there is one thing we learn in nursing school it’s that our career is built around caring for others. I have absolutely no doubt that each of these people (+ some not pictured) will excel in their careers and daily life ❤️🩺
