In the hustle and bustle of the last week of school, we didn’t get a chance to celebrate one very special moment—our amazing 5th graders’ Graduation Walk!

As they took their final walk through the halls of Schorlemmer Elementary, we couldn’t help but feel proud of all they have accomplished and excited for what lies ahead. Congratulations, 5th graders! We will miss your smiles, leadership, and Bear spirit.

We know you’re going to do great things in middle school and beyond. Remember, no matter where your journey takes you, you’ll always have a home here.

VISD campuses will observe summer closure dates. Campus closures are as follows:

Elementary campuses: June 8-July 13
Middle & high school campuses: June 23-July 1

Schorlemmer Office Hours for June 1-7th are 8:00-5:00 pm. (Closed Friday)

Beginning June 1 through July 30, 2026, the VISD Administration Building will operate on summer hours:

🗓 Monday–Thursday
🕗 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
🚫 Closed Fridays

Normal business hours will resume on Monday, August 4, 2026.

Please note: This adjusted schedule applies only to the VISD Administration Building. VISD campuses will also observe summer closure dates.

📚 Academic Camps help students sharpen skills, explore new interests, and stay on track for the upcoming school year.

🏀 Athletic Camps give students the chance to build skills, stay active, and have fun with teammates and coaches.

✨ Camps are open to a variety of grade levels and interests, with opportunities being added regularly!
