When you’re everything you can get your hands on… patience is a virtue. It’s a waiting game. And indeed perfumery has thought me 3 very valuable and essential lessons…

Patience, because to get the right distillation, to get the right percentage in and and adjusting over a period of six months to a year just to be able to use it in your blends is a challenge.
, because you encounter in the world of and also aroma chemicals & and raw materials & concretes, so many different experiences, and not only that, but you get to learn from the masters, not to mention meeting other perfumer and sharing a similar , which, with whom you also have to be very patient.
Humility, because as you progress in acquiring different oils and gems of a scent, mixing and blending different compositions creating bases & accords, you realize that you haven’t even touched the tip of the #“ ”, and that there is a long and exciting journey ahead of you.
and in so many ways perfumery is so much a part of our tradition and culture…
For example as the ﷺ tradition goes, be careful (know) who you take your knowledge from; well in the same token be careful whom you get your (perfume) from.
and aside from that there is so much that goes into being an apprentice, inspired by your elders in perfumery SubhanAllah. 🔥🔥
