Marina Rodriguez has never been afraid to try something new.

Before becoming a Registered Nurse, she served in the Coast Guard as an aviation mechanic, loadmaster, and search-and-rescue aircrew member. When she was ready for a new challenge, she found herself drawn to nursing, inspired by her mother's career

Today, Marina is a Registered Nurse helping patients through some of their most important moments.

Her advice? Just do it.

"The more you think about it, the longer you're going to take to decide. So you might as well just jump right in."

Some dads spent this year studying for exams. Others spent it helping someone they love get to graduation.

This Father's Day, we're celebrating the fathers who earned their degrees, the fathers who supported their students through every challenge, and the fathers who were there to cheer them on when they crossed the stage.

Thank you for the encouragement, sacrifice, and support that helped make these moments possible. πŸ’™πŸŽ“

When Kyle Bentley started his externship, he wasn't expecting a job offer.

After serving as a nuclear operator in the Navy, Kyle decided to pursue his long-standing interest in technology and enrolled in Software Development. Near the end of his degree, Career Services connected him with Terramar Technologies for a five-week externship.

A few weeks later, Terramar offered him a full-time software development role before graduation.

Kyle's story is a reminder that sometimes the most valuable part of an externship is the opportunity to show a company what you're capable of.

"Go in hungry."

That was Kyle Bentley's advice after turning a five-week externship into a full-time software development role.

Kyle wasn't actively looking for a job when he started his externship. He focused on learning, contributing, and making the most of the opportunity in front of him.

A few weeks later, the company offered him a full-time position before graduation.

Watch Kyle share what helped him stand out and what he learned from the experience. πŸ’™
