1 Corinthians 15:58 "So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless."
Allow this verse to motivate you to work as unto the Lord in everything you do this week; stand strong in your testimony and faith to act as a reflection of the Lord and a vessel to be used for His Kingdom!

George Lutz (SCA '84) is turning grief into national purpose. In 2005, his son, Tony, was killed in active duty and George wrestled with the unfathomable loss of a child. However, God had equipped George to support other hurting families and make a difference.
George's story is just one of many over the course of our nation's 250 years. Join us as we honor all our nation's heroes this Memorial Day. As George puts it, "Every parent in America would rather somebody else's kid died for this county than their own. I'd love to have [Tony] back. But somebody else's kid is dying so that yours doesn't have to. What's the least you can do? The very least you can do is be appreciative. Say thank you."
