The words of the prophet Isaiah cry out with us in the Advent season. Just as Isaiah waited on the coming Messiah, we pray with him in anticipation of the celebration of Christmas and Christ’s second coming.

As we light our Advent candles, we proclaim and pray for hope, peace, joy, and love. We hold God’s presence up as a light to the world until God returns. Whether this Advent feels more like darkness or full of light for you, we hope that you know God’s presence with you—our Emmanuel.
